In any circumstance, there is only so much one can take before they snap. We look around us, and we see idiocy everywhere we go. An entire society dedicated to destroying itself both physically and, most importantly, mentally; we live in a culture built of sheep, blindly accepting whatever propaganda is presented to them, clones of their predecessors who failed to instill a sense of personal responsibility. And we can’t stand it.

What is a thinking person to do in this crisis? For years, we’ve railed against the majority, decrying their idiocy, their mindlessness, drawing attention to their failings. They didn’t listen. So we sat quietly by, accepting that “this is the way the world ends, not with a bang, but a whimper.”

But there’s only so much we can take. We can’t let the world fall prey to it’s own failure to consider itself. If propaganda is to be the weapon of the day, then we will become propagandists. Perhaps the tides can be turned, we say, if we spread a new breed of propaganda, not built on the mindless devotion to a cause, not structured on the traditions of brainwashing, but retooled, improved, reworked into something meant to stimulate thought. It’s a long shot, but it’s all we’ve got left.
